I live in London U.K and specialise in flower photography. In 2016 I was awarded an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society for a panel of flower pictures in the 'classical' style. A year later I was awarded their highest distinction of Fellowship in the category of 'Fine Art' with a submission of 21 flower photographs created in the 'Botanical' style.
All of those pictures are included within my collection on this website. Although many of my pictures may appear to be paintings they are all in fact photographs taken in my small loft studio.
With each new picture, the challenge is to create an image that evokes the same emotion as when looking at the real flower. I hope I have gone some way in achieving this.
I am always looking for new ways of representing my flower images and the category which I call 'Demichrome' is an example of this and is so called as the images are neither monochrome or full colour but somewhere in between. I think they have quite a nice appeal and plan to add to these in the future.
